5.0 out of 5 stars A must read!! Reviewed in Canada on June 11, 2020 Verified Purchase I highly recommend this book. A must read for anyone that has played, and never made it. Great insight on how Senior hockey was in the late 80's and early 90's. Those were great days.

5.0 out of 5 stars Every Canadian kids dream...sort of Reviewed in Canada on May 21, 2020 Verified Purchase This story of a hockey nobody was an entertaining read. It got me rooting for a guy I didn't know about, on teams I've never even heard of. But the story of playing street hockey as a kid with aspirations of playing pro hockey resonates with a many Canadian kids. The fact that "Teabag" went out and accomplished what he did, with his "uh-huh" resume was an underdog story that you can only root for, especially when contrasted to current day where hockey camps, power skating, skill clinics, expensive gear, and organization politics play bigger influences in how far a player makes it. This was an inspiring story about putting yourself out there, and living the dream. One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars I read this book to my wife and we both could not stop laughing Reviewed in Canada on April 15, 2020 Verified Purchase His writing style feels like he's standing in the room with you, telling his stories. It reminds me of how people talked when I was growing up, but with a descriptive flavor that reminds me of dialogue in HBO's Deadwood. The situations he explains, and how he explains them makes what probably could have been mundane to any onlooker, sound like some of the most hilarious and interesting stories you have ever heard. I cannot put it down. Easy read, and so much fun!
