This story of a hockey nobody was an entertaining read. It got me
rooting for a guy I didn't know about, on teams I've never even heard
of. But the story of playing street hockey as a kid with aspirations
of playing pro hockey resonates with a many Canadian kids. The fact
that "Teabag" went out and accomplished what he did, with his "uh-huh"
resume was an underdog story that you can only root for, especially
when contrasted to current day where hockey camps, power skating,
skill clinics, expensive gear, and organization politics play bigger
influences in how far a player makes it. This was an inspiring story
about putting yourself out there, and living the dream.
